Pura Vida Creative Kitchen & Bar has returned from vacation and is ready to welcome you back to the table. Starting September 30, 2026, our regular Wednesday-Sunday hours are back in full swing, steps from Jobos Beach in Isabela, Puerto Rico.

After closing September 14-29 for vacation, Pura Vida is officially back. Our kitchen and bar are running on the regular schedule again, and we're ready to serve you the best authentic Costa Rican flavors in Puerto Rico — the same rice-beans-plantains foundation, fresh seafood, and craft cocktails you know, made the traditional way.

Wednesday through Sunday, Pura Vida is open for lunch and dinner service. We're closed Monday and Tuesday. Check current hours and directions before you visit, since hours can shift seasonally.

What to order first

New to Pura Vida or coming back after a while? Start with a Casado, Costa Rica's classic combination plate of rice, black beans, plantains, and a protein of your choice. Pair it with a fresh juice or one of our craft cocktails from the bar. If you have dietary preferences, our vegan and vegetarian-friendly options are also back on the menu.
